Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-28.

1. Acceptance

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

2. What this is

A consumer job-search tool that ranks publicly-listed job postings against your profile and helps you prepare. We do not represent you to employers, we are not a recruiter, and we do not promise outcomes.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of your resume, portfolio, stories, and reviews. By posting a review you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the relevant company page. Reviews are protected as opinion under Section 230 (47 USC §230) and analogous state anti-SLAPP statutes; we will not edit your review except in narrow moderation cases (slurs, doxxing, defamatory false-fact statements about named individuals, threats).

4. Auto-apply & off-app applications

When you swipe yes, our software helps you apply on the source ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, etc.) using data from your profile. Final submission is your action — you review what's filled before submitting. We do not file applications on your behalf without your explicit per-job consent.

5. AI & bias

Match scores, gloss explanations, interview feedback, and cover letters are machine-generated. They are not professional career advice. Treat them as a starting point. We run a synthetic-profile bias audit on every release and publish the results at /admin/bias-audit; we cannot, however, guarantee zero bias.

6. Acceptable use

  • Don't impersonate someone else or submit a profile based on someone else's resume.
  • Don't post reviews containing slurs, threats, doxxing, or knowingly-false statements of fact about named individuals.
  • Don't reverse-engineer the matching algorithm to spam-apply at scale.
  • Don't scrape our review or company data — we'll provide an API once it's ready.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. Salary data is best-effort extraction from the source posting; we make no representation that any disclosed range is current, accurate, or honored by the employer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Total aggregate liability for direct damages is capped at the greater of $50 USD or what you paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion per the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We can update these terms; material changes will be flagged at the top of this page.

This is an MVP. These terms are operator-binding but have not been reviewed by counsel. Public deployments should consult an attorney.
